Audrey Sonntag is an independent consultant specializing in data engineering and teaching. She has been coding for over ten years, primarily in Python. She started as an intern for the National Committee for Effective Congress (NCEC), where she did tedious tasks with Excel datasets. Eventually, she realized that writing some simple code could free up time. So, she set out to learn.
Learning to code in formal and informal settings gave her an appreciation for communicating about technology. She received a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in computer science from George Mason University in 2019. Between her degree and many years of work experience, she has a reputation among clients and students for communicating complicated topics clearly and thoughtfully.
